AxFlow Italy has acquired Generalcontrol Spa, a Milan, Italy-based distributor of positive displacement (PD) pumps, instruments, vacuum pumps and compressors. With a product mix of pumps, instruments, air motors, medical air compressors and mixers, Generalcontrol has established positions in the sanitary, chemical, ceramics and automotive industries.

Sulzer Completes Acquisition of Alba Power Sulzer has acquired the Scottish aero-derivative gas turbine service provider Alba Power, a leading independent service provider for aero-derivative gas turbines in Aberdeen, UK. Pentair announced first quarter 2019 sales of $689 million. Sales were down 6 percent compared to sales for the same period last year. Excluding currency translation, acquisitions and divestitures, core sales declined 4 percent in the first quarter.

Pentair announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Pelican Water Systems for $120 million in cash, subject to customary adjustments. Pelican Water Systems provides residential whole home water treatment systems.

Sulzer acquires GTC Technology US, LLC, a technology company offering proprietary processes and systems for the production of aromatics and other petrochemicals.
